Wall Tent Setup Time

Getting ready for elk season.

For those of you that have the small wall tents such as a 10x12 or 12x14: How long does it take to setup by yourself?

I have a decent looking canvas spike tent with 4 foot walls and a stove jack. It takes me about 30 minutes to set up by myself. Is that faster than a small wall tent? Here is a pic:

My 12x14 Davis wall tent has frame and 5 ft sidewall. I have set mine up and I never timed myself but I know I couldn't do it in 30 minutes.

Don't remember timing it on setup, we use a Davis 14X16 with internal frame and put in cheap plastic tarps and outdoor carpet for a floor. Three of us tore it down and packed it and all the gear in the truck in under an hour twice last week while antelope hunting. That includes cots, camp stove, table, lanterns and heater.
The rafters have been cut to the same length as the ridge poles and sidewall stringers so there is no need to sort them and the whole frame fits crosswise under the toolbox in a pickup. Short pieces with unions add enough length to make up the rafters.

I have a 10x12 wall tent that I can set up in probably 30 minutes. That's digging everything out included. I built my own frame and have set it up often enough I can whip it out fast
