Want info on GOYOJO GRL335 Thermal Optics

Anyone using the GOYOJO GRL335 Thermal Optics? It is cheaper than anything out there and is a 50-100 yard day/night glass. The longest shot I can do is 120 yards because of woods around the place unless shooting towards a hi way which is a no-no. It shows as a 4x which would do for me. The coyotes are coming around the hen house at night and all I have are day scopes and for me using a light isn't working. Light on and coyotes are gone.

I have the grl 325 for the couple weeks. As far using it, it detects great. Its been a blast watching animals. Squirrels, rats, opossum, coyote, deer, birds, rabbits and raccoons are among what I have detected. The down side is the unit now power cycles or does not turn on. I am in contact with Goyojo to resolve the issue.

any update on this? just curious to see whether there is actual support or not.

So far, they have asked for videos to try to help rectify the issue. Goyojo rep sent a video they believed would offer a fix but it did not. The support team thinks my threads need cleaned even though the scope was new out of the box. Responses are slow, I think I am in communication with someone from China. I like using this scope but I really want to use it with the internal battery.

I have had the scope on for around 6 hours while hunting in a blind. Using the external power bank only used 1 out of 4 bars. Its just a $15 power bank. I sent another email yesterday......fingers crossed I get a solution with out return8ng for exchange.

thanks for the reply.
i hope it's sorted out. so it works normally when connected with a battery pack but it's not working when using the internal battery?
there's not much user information out there for these scopes, i hope the maker is legit and they honor their warranties too (if it comes to that).

I had the unit not power on, replaced the internal battery. Now about 6 months in it is working fine. Brother bought one and in a week it would not power on. He replaced the internal battery and no more problems. They are using a very cheap battery.

Good to know, thanks

I have tried 4 different batteries. Took all 4 hunting and left after my scope power cycled continously even when using a fresh battery. I don't know why it does this but it works great on the external power source. Just watching animals at night is a blast. I will update once I get a resolution.

I also want to add, I used a nitecore battery that worked for about 2 hours. Since that 2 hours it power cycles same as the others. I will try another in case its just bad luck.

How will the techs determine(over the phone) if it is a software, firmware or hardware issue causing the power cycles? Could be as simple as a cold solder joint in the battery system/mB. Or an update has corrupted the software.

I bought a lot of equipment from Chinese makers. Most have some kind of issue but they will never accept responsibility or to replace it, they always do aimless troubleshootings or find alternative ways so you can do your job with the equipment. This is my main concern with this item too. It's not insignificant money and if they are not immediately willing to take it back it's concerning. At the end, it's always preferrable to pay a little more and get one from US/EU makers, which may be made in China as well but at least they honor better their obligations.
