Want Opinions On Diamondback AR

OK, I admit it, I'm not a AR guru.

I'm looking for honest opinions on Diamondback Firearms AR rifles.

Are they good, decent, or junk?

I have a Diamond Back 9mm and like it for a small pocket gun...I haven't seen many reviews or comments on the AR series...I know that Taurus bought out Diamond Back and that Kahr had a successful law suit against them...
 
My local Walmart carries the DB ARs for $847. Seems like any other AR to me when I fondled it. It's a little higher in price than the garden variety DPMS at WM.
 
Seems like a decent entry rifle. Shot peened and mp tested bolt and chromed lined. I personally like a 1:8 or 1:7 twist. I personally don't own one but I have heard mixed reviews. I would check out the staking job on the BCG before I buy it.
 
I bought a new DB-15NIB. I like it. Shoots under an inch. Has a great hand friendly floating forearm. It has a nickel boron plated upper and lower plus the bolt. It's easy to clean. They have had some problems with the low profile gas block they use coming loose.
 
Zombie Thread alert!!!! This firearm is on sale at the local CAL Ranch store. $549.

Should I add this to the arsenal? For $300 less than the last time I saw it...maybe?
