Living within 20 miles of the Leupold plant makes it a no brainer. I have called on Leupold twice on warranty issues. The first one was when I dropped a gun and bent the scope. Took it to Leupold and fully expected to pay for the repairs because the damage was clearly my own stupid fault. Leupold did not charge a dime. The second time I got a 5 day turn arond. Again no charge.
I would put Leupold's warranty and customer service up against anyone. That said, they are a tad expensive. The bright side now is the new Redfield line that carries the Leupold warranty. Bought the 4x12 the other day. For around $210.00 it matches up with the competition in optic quality. When you throw in the Leupold warranty, it is the best bargain out there for the price/quality point.
