Was that coyote singing Guns N Roses??

Went out with my good buddy Arizona Bushman on New Years for a little coyote action.

The first stand came up empty handed... Just a practice stand the first one is we say. Then go to the second stand and about 2 minutes in here comes a coyote so fast for the call it wouldn't even stop after we barked at it. Down it goes with my .243

Third stand looks promising, as we walked up we could here coyotes barking away... Perfect! We get set up and here comes a coyote over the hill about 15 seconds into the call. As Bushman was getting ready to pull the trigger the coyote started singing Guns N Roses... Then it started signing louder... Then a douche bag in a pickup truck drove by to trash shoot in the desert... There goes our magical singing coyote... Just some turd and off she runs...

Forth and fifth stand were nada... Sixth and final stand was at almost noon and time to finish up for the day. A few minutes in comes a coyote trotting straight in. It stops and thought it spotted me but it doesn't and comes right in charging. Again it wouldn't stop with us barking... Down it goes by the rifle of Bushman!

Good times had with my pal. What a great day to start off the New Year. Just thought I would share.

Sounds like fun. If could ever get a day off I have a new 20prac at that needs some field time! Keep up the good work and give them h*ll.

Funny as I looked at the pic I was wondering what you use for hearing protection. It looks loud. But good shooting!
 
nice going and thanks for sharing. Something about the angle or perspective of those pics makes you guys look very small.........sorta like fun house mirrors or something. either way, congrats.
