Weapon Choices for Varmints

They say 'there's one in every crowd', and today, that would be me, lol. I'll be the word Nazi.

The political Left has taken formally good words and bastardized them, and those words are now used by normal, everyday people.

"Gay" used to mean a fun time. Tell your buddies you went to a party last night and had a 'Gay' time.....

Go hang a rainbow banner in your garage, or put a rainbow sticker on your truck.....

And so it is with the word 'weapon' when we talk about sporting guns.

You get my drift, so I'll stop here.
 
My little piece of heaven has a 5.5 ft wall around it. I keep a .177 break action pellet rifle in the closet for critters that molest my gardens.

But I will have to agree with others on the 17hmr for no ricocheting. Very frangible little pill in the vmax. Mine shoots the TNT bullets a little more consistent and never recall hearing one zip off into the sunset either.

Theyā€™re illegal where I live to. I still use mine all the time. They unscrew really fast

According to your profile, your in Nevada ??? ... I don't live in Nevada, but the last I checked (about 1 minute ago) suppressors was legal in that state.

So your statement is confusing. Unless it's a local (below the state level) that has a prohibition. Or is it simply just a "gas lighting" statement, which can result in drawing unneeded attention to yourself, when you may or may not be in compliance with local laws.
 
I used a .357 magnum on an armadillo in the back yard about 6 one morning a while back. Kept waiting on the sheriffs to show up but they never did. It's not illegal.

Im not to concerned about state regulations most rural counties ignore goofy state laws and refuse to enforce them. Out where I live our County Sheriff ignores them

IF you are in FACT in Nevada which does allow use and ownership of lawful suppressors. How in the Flying &)(*&^%*& is that County Sheriff ignoring a law?
A. Or are you attempting to say he is ignoring a law by prohibiting a lawful item?
B. Or is he ignoring a law that is not prohibiting ownership?
C. Or is it simply your a prohibited person from lawful ownership / use ??
D. Or you have obtained a suppressor without following the GCA of 1968/ NFA.

Heck if you live in California just say so, Jaysus.

There isn't no in between, either you live in a state it is lawfully , or you live in a state it isn't. The only other two conclusions left from your statements leaves you set up for serious jail time if ever caught. Now is it lawful for you to use it in Nevada (enter the concept of a trust), and live in California. Yes, it would only be unlawful to bring it into that state where prohibited.
And Honestly I really don't care what category you fall in A-D above. So really no need to respond actually as I really don't care just to make sure it's understood. I just found the statements by you to be off. And simply drawing a bullseye on your back.


Now back to the ACTUAL thread....
Personally the 22 Centerfires, 6mm bores sizes, and of course the rimfires for Varmints is my preference.
