Weaver Grand Slam Sale!

Minnesota, have you had a lot of problems with your Grand Slams because I was considering another one.Mine have been great so far no problems whatsoever.

Ok, this train wreck stops right here. Unless you have a comment on the scopes being offered up by the Optic Zone or a question for The Optic Zone, you will restrict comments on this thread. I will not allow a Sponsor of this site to have his thread derailed in here. Sponsors are restricted from the Classifieds and are allowed to post in the appropiate forums to make announcements for the products they sale.

Without the sponsors ability to make these announcements, you viewing pleasure will be greatly reduced.

Now back to our regularly scheduled programming.

I picked up a Weaver Grand Slam 4x on close out awhile back and it is an excellent scope, very clear optics.

My Bushy Varminter sports the 6-20 fine crosshairs dot!

Great glass! So what! When it's 105 on August 15, in the middle of H#!! SD,! I had to turn it down to 12 to keep it from dancing so bad!

The Luppy's were doing it also! As all the others! MIRAGE!

When everyone was giving me guff about sticking that narrow strip of white poster board across the top of my barrell, Hum! They might have learned something!

Sorry Hammer I didnt finish, I agreed with your comments to, well you know! And by the way, off subject! I know I don't post very often, but what is the freakin deal with everybody asking the same old, same old questions all the time!

Nobody uses the search engine evidently!

Ok Speedkills, you will have to explain the poster board concept to me, That is a new one that I have never heard and what are the results of using it /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif. We get alot of heat here in Texas also, so if it helps with heat waves, It may be something I have to try. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif Thanks Tony

P.S. Amen to RajinCajins post ! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

Those are all good prices, and I wouldn't say so for anyone if they weren't.

No 4.75x40's Jon?

2much,

That particular scope has been discontinued for some time and we no longer have any of them in stock. Sorry.

Its to block mirage, but I think it only blocks the heat waves generated by your barrel.

That is correct. It couldn't hurt though. Barrels heat up fast on a hot day.

I checked the prices with other companies that I buy from and the ones he posted here look really good. I would say if your in the market for a weaver, or just a scope in general, buy here and now.

The Grand Slam series does not offer any scopes with the Mil Dot reticle. If you are interested in a great buy with a mil dot, than I would recommend take a look at our Clearidge Ultra XP series. They are actually produced in the same factory as the Weaver Grand Slam and Elite 4200 with the same components.

Jon on your Classic Extreme units, is there an adjustment for the light reticle???

Was wondering how bright they are in the middle of the day?

Thanks.. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

Yellowhammer, if I remember right the Weaver scopes are lifetime warranted. I've owned a couple and they are very good scopes and worth what they cost. In fact, I'm a die-hard Leupold fan, but the Grand Slams are better in just about every respect than anything from the VX2 line on down. With that said those Clearidge scopes have me a little curios. I might have to try one out some time. If they are anywhere close to the Grand Slam or Monarch then they are one heckuva deal!

I read the post, its says sale, not if you want a scope you have to buy it from the optic zone. If you dont like the price, dont buy it, but keep the trash talking of a sponser to your self.
