The lake that feeds to Chattahoochee Tailwater’s is in its stratification stage so the Hooch is that green pea color. I decided to head to Western NC to chase some wild Rainbows and it didn’t disappoint!!

Once I figured things out it was double digits both mornings and afternoons. I’ll definitely be heading back up there soon. That tight lining bug bit hard and it’s all I do anymore. Finally upgraded from the Redington Euro Combo to an Echo Shadow X paired with a Soldarini Shadow 0-4 reel. Still running the Standard Mono Rig.
