I downloaded afew of these free sounds to media player 11.When I try to sync them to my mp3 they won't go.Can't click and drag them or anything. They are supposed to be in mp3 format.I'm abit new to this mp3 stuff so I may be missing somthing but was wondering if anyone else had problems w/these sounds.I can play them and they sound quite good.

I got a bunch of sounds from Western Rivers myself. However I had my 11 year old help me. The only thing I can say is I thought she did the SAVE TARGET AS thing.

Try this in my documents make a folder my music if it’s not already there, then my music a make a new folder and call it fox or coyote hunting what ever you like. When you play one of your sounds you want click (top left) file, then save as coyote hunting. Plug in your mp3 player into computer and turn on. Now in MY Computer you should see 3 1/2 floppy (A), local disk (C) and your mp3 player it my be D, E, F if you have other drives connected do not close. Open coyote hunting (make them both small enough so you can get both on screen) right click on sound, click send to, click on drive letter to your mp3. If it works with one you should be able to send the whole folder at once by right clicking on folder then send to. This was the only I could download sounds to my mp3.

first do you have the files on your hd. if not pm me and i will help
if so
does your mp3 player have its own software to sync with. if it does use it. mp 11 can be buggie.
if your mp3 player has no software you can try to open windows explorer and see if it is listed as a device along with c: d: and your cd and dvd drives.
if its there you can probably just drag -n- drop the files you want over to the player.

The way I did it using windows media player (shortened version)
I saved each of the different categories of sounds (coyote, cottontail, bird, jack rabbit etc.) in seperate folders naming them respectively.
I'll use the cottontail folder as an example...
I opened the cottontail folder, dragged and dropped all the mp3's within into windows media player. Highlight all the files within the media player and edit the tag. Within this you can change the artist and album information. I made the artist "Cottontail" and the album "E-Caller" (leaving the track name as is), making it easier to locate on the mp3 player. Once finished with the tag editing I saved the playlist as "cottontail"
I did this with each different animal sound I downloaded. Then, using windows media player with mp3 player connected to pc, clicked on the 'Sync' tab, and from there I clicked 'sync settings'. This brings up a new window within windows media player that allows to check each playlist you just made and click 'ok' to add them to your mp3 player.
I've helped a few people do it this way. If anything is still unclear feel free to send a pm with any questions.
Good Luck calling
