What a blast we had last weekend

Mason Jarr and I went out Saturday and Sunday of last weekend.
Saturday we called in seven and made eleven stands.
We shot one in the morning and just before dark, we called four in all at once. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif We both shoot .223 AR-15 and laid all four coyotes down , with a few extra shots. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Sunday we called in four and shot three. It was a very good weekend, hope you like the pictures. Mason Jarr and GENE'O

That area in the background looks real familiar. I was scheduled to head to your neck of the woods for our yearly hunt, today, but work wrecked my hunting plans. My brother and friend are going solo with out me. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Well done you guys!! I'm headed over your way this weekend. My sister is having a baby shower and I'm going to try and get my brother-in-law on a called in dog. They live in Kuna. I've never called over that way so I'm looking forward to seeing some new ground. It looks like you guys are defenitely figuring out the local coyotes. Good job again!!!
 
The FX5 works great. We used it when we called in the four at once. The only problem I'm having with it is deciding which of the 189 sounds I've got loaded to use. As good as it is, its still my backup call when I'm hunting with Gene'O. The man can play the dying rabbit blues with the best of 'em! And besides, he always shares his home made cookies. The FoxPro hasn't brought cookies yet! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif We get the purple gloves at Home Depot or Lowe's. I definitely don't work on coyotes without some sort of protection. Oh, by the way, Gene'O is being a little modest. We went out again yesterday and got three more. I should say Gene'O got three more. I'm still getting use to this two stage trigger on my AR. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif
 
Awesome, awesome job Gene'o . would love to do some calling up around there sometime, I worked for two years at Mtn. Home AFB, but only got to go calling a couple of times. One of those times I called in a double up on the road to Fairview right after the Featherville turn off. Other times it was always singles.
 
You can get the gloves at any Drug Store.
WE both enjoy hunting coyotes, a lot.
We hope to have some more pictures soon and another adventure of calling in Coyotes in.

Oh yeah. I forgot to mention one more thing. On Saturday all five coyotes were males and on Sunday the three we shot were females. I guess the males were home watching football on Sunday and the ladies were out doing the shopping! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif Gene'O and I were talking about how later in the season the coyotes get real spooky and whenever they see a truck on the road they break out into a dead run. I told him if every time he went to the supermarket someone potentially might take a shot at him, he'd probably be a little skittish, too!
