Was looking to get some hand calls for crows, They don't make my favorite anymore it was an "Olt perfect crow call" That was the best hand call I ever found.

What are your current favorites that you recommend that are on the market now???

Go to CrowMart on Crowbusters.com,they have all the top calls.
I have the Gibson short range,the Cedar Slayer,Faulk C-50,Jack Minchey,and Mallardtone.

Hi Redtail
The reason,to have 5 or 6 calls is because they have different piches, and so you can sound like different crows answering each other back. What do you have for an e-caller?

I use to use a Faulks for imitating the young Crows and the raspy Olt for the old ones. I also had a JS tape player and use to do quite good, my best was 48 Crows from one stand by myself. I just picked up a Foxpro Spitfire I have to reprogram it as it was from a store because FP and APC were out of them. So any mp3 sounds you recommend will be welcome.

All great crow calls mentioned, no doubt. Try this one with your calls. While using your call, tighten up your throat so that your are trying to clear it or hack something up. This will give any call a deep rasp. It work really good on older crows and educated crows. It takes a while to get it right but when you get it down, it is just a down right dirty call to use. A very wise man with a body count taught that trick to me.

Yeah, you kinda growl into the call. At first my throat hurt, but once you do it a little bit you'll get used to it.

Mallardtone and fulks are good calls.
My go to calls are haydels tc87 and the old style quakerboy.
Stayaway from the turkey locator crow calls. You would have better luck blowing a newyears eve kazoo than them.

My go to call is a Gibson long range. Awesome call. got it at CB.

Have a pile of other calls, but usually only take the Gibson LR and another Gibson I have, it sounds "younger" than the LR. I got it straight from Darrell:
