@bohunr
I assure you my condensed homework wasn't meant to hurt your head LOL.
It's probably half, or shorter than the original than I had in a word document (about 8 hours worth of calculations, researching, and speculations)
But my experience said the 1-12" twist is the answer, BUT your post and my own experience with the SBR in the barrel I listed matched up.
Which our shared experience flew in contrast of the past experiences I had.
I was left with why????
This caused me to attempt to figure this out . Hence the LONG post I was trying to show why, rather than just state the conclusion .
To boil it down we are NOT seeing what the OP is, he is shooting at a longer distance ( beyond 200 yards) This aligns perfect with my past of beyond 200 yards, not present experience of 200 yards and less with a faster twist.
When I came across Frank Green's interview The light came on as it actually explains in my minds eye, less than 200 yards the type of rifling really doesn't matter.
Where in the past "we" controlled this viable by using slower twist. Which is still relevant today as not everyone has went to the land groove configuration I listed.
Personally I do own several differing land / groove configurations in the same and different calibers. They all work well when applied correctly. Do some of them have flyers yes. Some I've fixed by adjusting a setup to a more consistent bullet seating depth or moved closer or further away from engagement to contact with the rifling.
