What can you tell me about a 22 Cheetah MKI?

A friend of mine picked up one with a Hart barrel (27") in 1-16" twist on a rem 700 action. It came with the po's load and shooting book, so we have what the po found to be an Ideal load for this gun. It happens to be 46.5 gr of IMR 4350 pushing a 52 gr Sierra BTHP, using 308 BR cases. Just wondering what anyone else has to say about this little wildcat!

Super fast, mine was pretty accurate. And the barrel lasted a litle over 2000 rounds.....i had to have one back in the mid 80s so a gun smith buddy and i built one. It was a blast to shoot pasture poodles with. Accuracy started noticeably going south at about 1500 hundred rounds and at 2200 you couldent hit a prairie dog at a hundred yards.
Was sure fun while it lasted [beeep]!

FWIW, my friend says it's shooting bug holes for him, so that's a good sign. I was a little skeptical of the slow twist, but it seems to work. Was also concerned about barrel life, but sounds like he has plenty of life to expect, the shooting log indicates around 600 rounds through the tube. Course this comes from me, a 220 Swift owner...
