What do you do to feed the wife and kids?

I currently work for the U.S. Postal Service. That's right a postal worker with guns! Scary thought huh?
I have a degree in criminal justice and just finished the police academy in November and am hoping to get hired on a department soon.
 
I'm a high school teacher and a coach. In the summers I help out on my families farm. I don't make much money but I sure do like teaching and coaching the kids.
 
For the past nine years I get my SS,IRA, annuity checks and some rent income..Kids are grown and goin, Spend as much as I can on hunting ,fishing, camping, reloading, firearms and some travel with my wife. Worked some 30 years in the retail electric industery.
 
I am a journeyman electrician . I do maintanece for the department of residence at the University of Northern Iowa . I raise whitetails , twenty two at the present , and fish , trap , gold prospect , wood working , low grade buckskinning (tents and teepee events) and too many more things.....just getting started in the calling coyotes .
 
Have narrowly avoided the whole wife and kids things so get to feed myself prime rib and lobster every night!
Work as a field engineer in Rocky Mountain area oils fields.

Electrical Technologist here. Just finished my final year of school last May. Landed a job in June where I am still at today. I assist in designing and building custom Switchgear Substations and I'm also involved in electrical field service (Industrial/Plant Maintenance).

No wife or kids to feed though. At 21, I'm hoping not for a while either (kids mainly /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif).
 
Spent 11 years over the road tractor trailer, now I am a boom truck operator for a concrete co. Making just as much $$$ and sleeping in my own bed.
 
haha divorced the wife and never had kids....but to feed my dog and myself I'm currently a Office manager for a construction outfit but I'm going back and getting back into management with Les Schwab.

I just wander around in the woods makin' little hurt animal noises and ever wunce in awhile I rare up and shewt a kyote. It's kinda fun and I don't have to clean 'em cuz their fur ain't no good down here. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Industrial Tech (Shop) teacher 13 yrs. Residential draftsman, Assistant Fire Chief, EMT, Bar Tender, Sewer Board, and Run a Pie Cherry Cannery during the summer. Live in Western Montana. Three Daughters. They call me the King of Queens. It keeps me quiet. I have one in college, one graduating and the other in 7th garde. Wife works ar a bank. I can't get her to bring home any of the reject money.

I work for small contractors setting roof trusses on houses,buildings and pole barns. Also do a little custom sawmilling on the side.
 
I just vote for democrats and the checks come in the mail.

OK, not really. Spent 23 years in the auto industry as a facilities engineer until I became a "buget cut". So I thought I would start my own business and see how long it takes us to starve.

electrician on commercial/industrial for 5 years. will finish up my apprenticeship this summer looking to scale down. cant stand the people. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/angry-smiley-055.gif wife of a year and a half is expecting in july. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif this will work out good because she is not to interested in hunting so i can now have some one to go with me. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif if i could only convince her to live in a cave in alaska for the rest of our lives i would be set. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-006.gif
 
I am a teacher and High school football coach, not much time to hunt but I was raised on it and I love it when I do get to go.
