Going to school (Machine Tool, +3 years university) hope to get into the custom gun/barrel making business after I pay my dues for 8-10 years.

Doing CNC set up at a local jobshop here in town, for the past three summers was on a tribal wildland fire crew (FF1). Me and the gf are both in school feeding a couple of twin boys ever growing appetite.

Just keep on keepin on

I am a Physical Therapist and am also the Director of Physical Medicine at the hospital I work at. I have been married 5 years and my wife teaches at one of only a handful of rural schools left in South Dakota. I currently have a 2.5 year old son who is already being groomed to chase after those wiley coyotes with his dad. He is already addicted to watching Randy Anderson's coyote hunting movies. I got him a little call and play gun and he sits there and pretends he is calling them in. I am so proud. I also have another little one on the way that is due in July.

I am a civil engineer. I design commercial and residental developments and various other projects for local municipalities.

I feed nothing to my ex-wife but 1/2 my 401k, 1/2 the debt she racked up and the house. But now she feeds me and the 2 kids 29.9% of he income every month. The kids and I are happy. As far as what I do for work is. I sell grain equipment to farmers in a 15 county area in SE Iowa. It really helps when I need to get onto ground to bowhunt or do some calling. The job may not be as glamourous as some but it has its perks. Wouldn't chage anything. Have the boy's with me and we do alot of hunting. On ground that I've have been able to locate and gain permission from working with customers through the job.

I have a retirement job as the Compliance Inspector for the largest homeowner's association in California. In the previous 40 years I was a PD Lt., Security Manager for Honeywell & AT&T, Director of Public Safety at a major university, Chief of Security for an major amusement park and a Code Enforcement Officer.

Looking forward to retire from everything but hunting, fishing, travel and golf in August next year.

This is a cool thread, Lets see, Started out as a proffesionally trained chef after I quit college after two blurry years, culinary school and 8 years in the kitchens of park city UT, south jersey,DE and Philly. Got into a work accident had to have neck surgery wher I was lightened up from a neck muscle and scar tissue removed. While on the mend met my awesome wife and started working in a friends Bait and Tackle shop, he sold it and I went into wholesale tackle biz. Walked into a customers shop, he wanted out so I bought my first shop. 2 years later bought the original shop I started outin. Next year an offer came along I couldn't refuse, bought another shop that had the land with it, also has a seafood market with it were we sell local fresh and live seafood along with bait and tackle. I'm now in the process of selling my second shop, so I can expand my seafood shop.
My wife went back to work so we could have insurance benies that were affordable. Shes a social worker dealing with the ederly and terribly ill, she really is an angel. She helps people that really need it, not the ones that abuse the system. She has never brought the stress of of her day to day home. I don't know how she does it seeing people that are fighting for there lives, it really makes you gateful for what you have. Also she has given me two wonderful little girls 2 and 5 and the 5 yr old has been squierll huntin with me so with any luck I 'll pass the passion on to her. She already loves fishin so she'll be an outdoorsgirl.
Also I'd like to Thank all the Millitary personel that are here. You guys do a job that you don't get enough thanks recognition and pay to do. So God bless and may he keep you safe. Tim

I cater "Pit BBQ" and "Dutch Oven" cooking along with some other small time things when its slow. My wife thinks being a Professional BBQer isnt a real job, but it pays the bills.
Im still experimenting with some coyote recipes but havent succeeded yet! Good smoke and better sauce still doesnt help! Nasty Critters! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
