What do you guys think of thermal with integrated digital night vision?

I have the AGM Clarion 640 scope and AGM ReachIR 35-640 handheld monocular. I am seeing more and more scopes, monoculars, and binoculars with both thermal and digital NV integrated.

1. Do you think this is the wave of the future?
2. Night time hunting - do you think the digital night vision would be that useful?
3. Day time hunting - in knee height thick brush, do you think the thermal with digital would help you spot incoming coyotes?

Any opinions?

I've been using an AGM Fuzion since they came out.
I've only used the DNV or Fuzion feature when hunting new property looking for house lights in the background.
The DNV feature is useless unless in a full moon because it doesn't come with an IR illuminator.
AGM should've made the Fuzion with the LRF instead of DNV from the get go.
A friend has the 384 and 640 DNT thermsight scopes.
Since I'm not hearing him bestowing any praise on them I don't think they've lived up to his expectations.

Not sure if it’s the wave of the future but for me, scanning with my rifle as opposed to scanning with a handheld thermal doesn’t appeal to me at all.

I started predator hunting just a few years ago and scanned with my rifle, didn’t take me long to move to a handheld thermal.

I’m more comfortable locating targets with the more maneuverable handheld and then acquiring the target with my digital night vision scoped rifle. I prefer the view I see via the DNV as my thermal is only 384, maybe if I had a 1280 Adder I might feel differently.
