what do you know about Thompson center Icon 22-250

Im told they have the R5 rifling in the barrel which tends to make them quite accurate - you may wind up liking it. Why not use camoform wrap and wrap it rather than paint it.

I agree.

Hoggy

From everything I have read they are supposed to be a very nice rifle, don't think I could paint one though. Considering the fact that you have little to nothing invested I would contact Dave at camo-solutions.com and have the gun dipped, I don't believe you would be disappointed. Over a dozen patterns to choose from, same process as factory dipped guns, just my perspective. Have not seen 'camoform' so couldn't make a comparison, but I would at least look at the website and compare before I made my decision.

Just use some removable cloth white or camo tape wrap.

The Icon is a beautiful wood stocked model and no need to paint it; keep it original. The look and shoot great.
