What do you like for a decoy these days?

Been using Mojo super critter, seems to work fine. However I've upgraded my call from a turbo Dogg to a FoxPro fusion, and am planning on getting the fox jack.
 
I like the Fox Jack on my Shockwave. Good action, easy to use, and holds the attention of the incoming critter. I'd rather a rabbit-like body over the woodpecker one, but that's a minor detail that I'll fix with a homemade topper when the woodpecker goes the way of the dodo.

As long as you have a breeze or wind, it works good, but in calm wind it doesn't give much movement.

I too don't use a decoy a lot, but have at times. I use the Predator Enticer. It's cheap and works plenty good enough. The batteries seem to last forever.

I second this, standard foxjack on the shockwave. If it's windy i'll leave it off and let it bob in the wind, i've had mixed reviews with decoys in general.

I also would like to see a "fur" topper. I've experimented with grey & black squirrel tails before, zip-tied to the foxjack cable. Only animal that saw them (that I know of) was a bobcat and he turned around when he got to about 30 yards from the caller, I promptly took them off.
 
I've had limited experience with decoys, but mixed results. It has spooked some coyotes. I'm gonna try leaving it off, and only activating it for a few seconds every few minutes instead of constant motion.
 
Fox Jack on my Furry II is deadly. Nice combination. Noise and motion a ways from the shooter and wind. Best I have found for a complete package.
 
Saw a guy take one of those spinning weasel balls, mount it to a stake, and paint the half of the ball that was left so it didn't stick out. Haven't tried it myself yet. I use Montana Decoy's Kojo and Miss Hoptober. I seem to have poor results with them as coyotes tend to hang up at the edge of my effective range.

I don't do a stand without a decoy..

There were times before where something would show up and stare at me, and I would sit there waiting for it to look away.

With the decoy and call away from me, they are not looking at me, and i can take the shot, without being the focus of attention.
The other thing is that when you are calling and a bobcat is coming, they are sneaking in on the noise, and something for them to look at (rather than me) allows me to see them sneaking in, and take that shot to put them in the truck. I didn't get that without it.

I like my Mojo, since i can put that close to the sound. I also have a Prarie Blaster that has built in decoy, and it's nice but to slow, but I did get a small stuffed Cotton tail, and made it work with the call. I haven't had a lot of chances to use it, yet, but that time is coming this year.
 
I use a mojo super critter in motion only. I like the built in tripod to get it up above the grass, it's wrapped in fur and has a fur topper with white tips. If I use my foxpro, I'll set the decoy near it but not right next to it. The motion is enough to get the critters attention off the hunter. I won't hunt without it. I also have a foxpro foxjack that attaches to my crossfire. It has a built in light for night time that shines on the topper. I haven't tried night hunting yet but I like the motion and added height of the mojo better and you can connect it to an auxiliary port (foxpro) and start/stop the motion from your remote too like the foxjack.

I use the Foxjack on my Shockwave as well. I like have the attention on something other than myself and that is the main reason I use a decoy.
 
Just sent away for an Icotec 300 caller for apx $75.00 + Free shp on E Bay it has 12 calls on it.? Plus I am making up a homemade Rabbit decoy using the Decoy Heart & a Rabbit fur skin.? Will see how that works out also.?
 
I'm still stuck on the feather on a string. I'll go out and spend tons of money on calls, shells, and guns, but when it comes to decoys for some reason I become very cheap.
 
Use a cheap "Primos Sit N Spin" on top of PAD.
Drilled into then epoxied a bolt on top of PAD so whirligig is up out of grass & don't need a spike in the ground.
Some of the Georgia clay is more like granite than soil !

I used to use them religiously, but due to our terrain they are mostly pointless. When I DO use one, I stick with the good ol mojo critter. Mine is modified with a custom topper and risers to get it up out of the bushes though.
