What do you think of the RCBS summit press

I've got one, can't complain. Actually I sold my redding after I got the summit press.

Pros:
personally I think it produces more accurate/concentric ammo. I like the idea of the die coming down to the brass instead of the standard way.(I load more precision stuff anymore, pretty much just longer range so that's why I invested in this press.
Its beefy, you will never tear it up.
Has a little smaller footprint if that's a concern.
I think its a tighter design, meaning there is less slop in the stroke.
Did I mention I think it produces more consistent ammo?

Neither a pro or a con:
This is really a non issue but I dont think it has quite the leverage of my redding press. Not that its a big difference, and some may not notice. Ive loaded 300wm and 7mm rem mag brass easily so unless your a girly man this press is gtg.

Con's:
the only 2 cons I can think of is if you would ever use the rcbs collet bullet puller die. Ive used it plenty but you have to thread the die first then thread the collet from underneath the die. It can be annoying, no deal breaker but be aware.

the plastic primer catch is a POS... With my setup i never used it, much less entertained the idea of using it. I set my press on the bench so that it kicks them into my home made primer/bullet catch

Sidenote: Rcbs makes 2 different length handles. It comes with the long one which is fine for everything. I also purchased the small length one for seating and bullet pulling. And the upside of the smaller handle is you can feel the press much better. With the small handle there is obviously less leverage. When seating bullets you can definitely feel the bullet/neck tension.

Synopsys: Dont be afraid to get one. I like it much better than standard presses, enoiught that I'm going to buy another.
