What holster for a Ruger Blackhawk 4 5/8" .45?

I am looking for cross draw hip holster with a snap retention strap that would be comfortable for all day carry while hiking, and hunting. Being able to carry it on the right side also would be a plus.

Check Freedom Arms website. They have a line of holsters made for them that should be exactly what your looking for. The holsters are made for the FA revolvers, but work with the Ruger large frame single-action revolvers as well.
 
El Paso Saddlery, Bob Mernickle, and others make a Tom Threepersons style in strong side or crossdraw. Not cheap but the best...Dave

lot of holster for the money, IMHO..I have for S&W K .357 and Ruger SP101 .327 and completely satisfied. Imagine they can configure for both strong and weak side carry[crossdraw].

Never thought about Simply Rugged for the blackhawk. I Have a Sourdough model for the Ruger SP 101 and love it. They also make a Tom Threepersons take off that looks good.

I don't have a leg in this race and don't know if it will work cross draw, but the Bianchi Lawman works very well for my single six. I'd say it's more in a normal price range also, to be swade lined.
