What is the best AR sling for use with ACE stock?

I'm trying to help a buddy pick a sling for his 16 inch RR A-4 varmint with Ace stock.

Any suggestions with pictures would be appreciated.

I have a tactical-type sling that I use sometimes, but I'd recommend a Butler Creek Neoprene sling for your buddy.
Put it on "backwards" for barrel down carry. The AR's mag will ride nicely under the armpit and is very comfortable for a long stroll to stand.
Byron South carries his AR in his Coming to the Call hunting videos in this way, for reference.

I use a regular quick adjust sling like this one.

I didn't much care for the length so I took out the screws and re-adjusted it making it a singe strand non-adjustable sling. I got the idea from one of Byron's guns I used when I was at his place. This leaves the sling long enough to cary barrel up , down , cross body behind the back or in front with enough room to shoulder the rifle with out having to unshoulder it. Versitle and cheap.

I tried as mentioned above, but didn't much care for it.

I have the contour, the rifle, and the shotgun...never used the jungle one, but it looks like the cat's meow. I love the ones I have, but can't offer much more than that except that the contour model is a bit easier than the rifle model to wrap your arm through to help steady those off-hand shots. The rifle version is nice for the heavier guns with a big scope and bi-pod. Also, the "hush stalker" swivels can get squeaky, but a little bit of bow string wax takes care of that no problem.
