What is the best electronic decoy?

Back when I was a kid, we used a stuffed animal (from our sisters' room) and a long string. I'm getting back into the predator hunting game and I think it's time to step up to new technologies. Any opinions/advice is greatly appreciated.

My favorite is the Jack in the Box by FoxPro . I also have the Rigor Rabbit but don't really like it so my vote goes to the JIB. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

I think you should stick w/the stuffed animal. I use a stuffed animal rabbit that i cut open and put a vibrating box in. I found the vibrating box in another stuffed animal but it is similar to the decoy heart that you can buy. It works great and is extremely cheap. I almost think it would work better than the JIB because the stuffed rabbit is much more realistic looking than the fur ball that flails around on a stick.

I've used lots over the years and I like JIB the best, though only a feather is all you need really. I would imagine the Minaska Ultimate one is similar to the JIB. Also, Mojo makes a Critterbuster or something like that that looks good. If it isn't windy I just take a feather decoy.

I just bought and used the Extreme Dimensions Phanton Pro on Friday with no results.
I blame myself for the bad hunt, but wonder if this thing is making good calls. If not, this combined with my lack of experience may lead to a very long learning curve, which is OK with me. Sure beats sitting home watching the Outdoor Channel waiting for Deer season to open.

I've been thinking of doing that very thing. I'm also trying to get a cougar to come in and I think it may need some visual stimulous. Looking at building something that will make one of those foam type fawn decoys move....has anyone had any success building their own?

There are some plans for sale on ebay....wondering if anyone has ever built one from scratch. Don't know what it looks like as the picture is of guy (the seller I presume) and a real nice dog.

JIB. But if I had to do it over I would get the Bandit all in one just for ease of having it all together. I really like my FoxPro and JIB combo though so Ive got no complaints.

Western rivers makes a good one....easy set up and works great runs on a 9v battery. its called predator deceptor you can check it out on western rivers.com
