The new sear makes offhand shooting much easier. But I have not test fired it at a proper range.
I have zeroed it from my post inn a barn. Range is about 40 meters. And the shooting position is extremely uncomfortable and difficult. I got 20 millimeter groups. But wit a proper rest and better shooting position it will shrink some.
I did test shoot S&B JHP and RWS JHP. The SB is a true JHP. The expansion is slower, and gives deeper penetration. It will work just fine on fox. Out of the two,it is also the best cartridge for meat hunting.
RWS is a semi jacked hollowpoint. It expands faster and produced a much more spectacular effect on the test medium.
Will work great on fox. Butt may destroy more meat.
SB almost tore apart the ballistic water mellon. RWS tore it into three big chunks.
