What kind of knives does everyone carry?

I keep all my fancy customs locked in the china hutch. And like you, my daily carry is a Wally World special that does an awesome job of cleaning battery cables and opening envelopes and bags of dog food. Right now its a Gerber something or other. Last week I lost(or laid down somewhere) a cute little Kershaw.

i always carry one or the other of these two. fixed blade was made for me by a friend of mine, i wear it in a horizontal cross draw belt sheath that i made, the other is a case trapper. when i wear the fixed blade, i usually carry an old medium case stockman in my pocket too. lately i have developed a thing for case trappers with the arrowhead sheild. i have to many already.

Carry a Kershaw Ken Onion daily. My father in law gave a queen dual blade folding hunter from the 60's that looks like brand new. Very sharp knife.

GC,

Yes, all Ingrams. Good eye since I don't have the logo's showing. I've sold the (2) that had the Natural mircarta handles with D2 steel.

My #1 Semi has S30V and my two Slim's have S30V.

Not a fan of D2 steel since it stains rather easily... Reason I sold of my D2 Ingrams.

S30V is the cats @$$.

True story,

My bottom Slim with the California buckeye burl handles. Last winter 1/2/10 while gearing up for a morning goose/duck hunt, I missed place my slim. I must of put it on my tail gate. We had a good 8" of snow on the ground. Hunted in the AM and notice my Ingram was gone!!! I'm pretty bad on putting stuff on my tail gate and driving a way... I can't tell you how many 50rds boxes of ammo I've lost...

Anyways, this spring in April, I was doing yard work. I went into the neighbors yard with our leave blower to blow the leaves from the fence into our yard. While walking by their driveway, I seen a brown leather sheath!

Bingo, my Ingram! Been out in the Snow, rain and weather for 3 months. Sheath was completely wet, yet, there was no rust on my Slim with S30v. My handles were in bad shape since they swelled. Ended up sending it back to Gene and he fixed my handles and sharpened my knife for free. If it was D2, it would of been a $300 rusty turd...

my main carry is a bufflo horn moore maker model 2202. and some times my cold steel lawman and my crkt rave. i had some benchmades but i gave'em away. i like my mooremaker the most.

I have a knife on the way from Rainshadow, cant hardly wait. It was suppose to be for my gf's dad but he wanted a case for some ungodly reason, which Im happy about

Everyday is a Leatherman Wave with the tool kit.

Hunting is a Kershaw Whirlwind Rockey Mountain Elk Foundation folder.
I am having a custom knife made for me this winter. Can't wait to get it going after the Christmas season.

I've recently turned my attention to buying Randalls.

HH,
Ohhh, I might be able to find a knife or two in there I could like! LOL...

Now, the Randall's... I just can't like them. I know that is weird, but for whatever reason they just don't do anything for me personally. I have a friend that honestly has fifty (50) Randall knives! I've fiddled with them countless times but for the most part just can't find one that really says "take me!" But nice collection all the same, they aren't inexpensive knives, nor are they necessarily always easy to get your hands on.
