What part of a coyotes fur is used?

What part of the coyotes fur is used most in garments and such? Is it the back portion with guard hairs or the white belly fur?
What colors tend to be most valuable when prices are good?

The belly and the long guard hair ruff from mid back to the back of the neck.

The wider and whiter the belly and the paler more silver the coyote is, the more money its worth.

All three of these graded pale and were $100+ coyotes. The one on the right brought $150
due to the wide clear white belly.

In my experience in skinning them out.. If it doesn't have a fully covered belly where you can't see the skin, and the gaurd hair isn't more than 2" I don't skin it.

It's just not worth the time. I do get paid more for the light fluffy ones vs the darker ones.
