Maintenance foreman at a small chemical factory, not my life's dream but can't be too choosy around here. I find myself outdoors all the time; flyfishing, hunting, hiking, dreaming, woodworking, photography and building log cabins.
Jim here, I was in bridge construction for 23 years before I became disabled in '94. Currently, I guess you would say I am a domestic engineer. May have an opportunity to work at home scheduling appointments for a gutter company. That is about my deal.
I spent 32 years of my life as a teacher in a public high school. Also spent 30 years farming part-time during that time as well. I retired from farming in 1986 and I thought I retired from teaching 3 1/2 years ago, but the local college talked me into going to work for them part-time in the Business and Office Technology Education Department and the Computer Science Department. I have actually been having fun teaching and look forward to a few more years on the staff. My workload at the college gives me Tuesdays and Thursdays off, so I can go hunting if the wind isn't blowing too hard! Nice job if you can get it.
Let's see, I'm a wildlife biologist with the US Fish and Wildlife Service (no wolf jokes). I'm also a member of a National Incident Management Team and fight forest fires and other natural (or unnatural) disasters all over the country.
Lifelong Carpenter, enjoy having the opportunity to move around the last few years and work in different regions of the U.S., my wife is Army, so her profession allows me to spend time in places I likely would not have the chance to.
Our most recent move finds us here in Alaska!!!!!
I am my kids Dad! The research division I worked for shut its doors on 200+ people about the time my wifes maternity leave was up so I said what the heck you only get to see them grow up once so I took the job. Pay isn't quite what I used to but the benefits are the best and heck I even can go huntin once in awhile. Also help out with the family farm and with merchandising some of our cattle. You ranchers out there drop me a line if you need some good black herd bulls have sent some down to Texas.
As the name implies, I open and repair safes in and around Washington DC. 45 years in the bussiness, 20 years opening safes. Have not found one I couldnn't get into yet. Some just take a little longer.
