What rings do you recommend for a Remington 700?

I've got a new Reminton 700 in 17 Remington that I get my hands on after the blasted CA 10 day waiting period is over. I've got a 50 mm Objective scope that will go on it but I am undecided as to what rings to use. To be honest, I've not bought any new rings besides for a flat top AR in YEARS. What do you recommend?
 
Burris signature rings with the inserts for simple and easy mounting solution. They are relatively cheap, and won't leave ring marks.
 

Talley one piece light weights
Warne steel bases and Leupold PRW's
Leupold dual dovetail bases and Burris Signature dovetail rings. These can be tough to find in a dual dovetail set but Brownell's carries them.
 
Leupold hardware on my 700 in 7mm Rem mag. Never budged in 15 years. On my annual range outing with it I would shoot 5 shots, they would be in the same place as the year before and back in the case it would go.
 
TPS makes great rings and bases for the money. Might look a little funny, tactical style setup on a sporter rifle. You would not have to worry about anything moving or ring marks.
 
Burris signature series all the way.
I have them on all my remingtons and corrected a bad alignment problem w/them.
No marks and hold as if welded!
You can easily sight in your rifle w/the insert kit then be in the middle of the windage and elevation adjustments.Thats where your scope performs at it's best -light gathering etc.

I prefer silver, but my wife would like something in 14kt gold with a black pearl and two diamonds........big diamonds.
