What scope is on your AR-15

I just got my first AR-15. It is a Rock River 5.56 mm with a Sabre Defense 20 inch stainless barrel with a 1/8 twist. Here is a photo.

Now I need a scope. My question is what scopes are you guys using on your AR? Will a regular hunting scope work best, or is there a tactical scope that would work well on coyote's? Also what are the best rings to get?

SJ72: Nice rifle. My AR has a Leupold Vari-X II 3-9x 50mm. But I hunt open country too. I'd go lower power if I had more tight cover.

Have an old Weaver 2x10x40 on my sweet sixteen and son has a Simmons 3x12x40 on his sweet sixteen. Both have done a good job so far. We always leave them on the lowest power for fast arrivals and running shots, can always turn one up for long range shots, but can't turn one down quiclky if yote is already almost in your lap.

i have a lep 3-9 x40 mounted with harris tactical rings then on the side of the scope i have a hologram and laser sight mounted on the side of the tactical rings for close shots

I have three scoped ARs. One sports a Sightron 4-16x, one has a Sightron 3-12x, and on the other is either a 2-7x or an EO-Tech, depending on the area I will be in..

In the event I'm headed for a PD town, they all get a boost in optics.

i dont wanna "hi-jack" this thread but i just bought a .308 and hoping to put a scope on it but i am having trouble figuring out what power to buy. I am looking at the buckmasters and the 4.5-14x40 is a really good value, but will 4.5 be low enough to get on a coyote hauling but towards me?

A buddy just got a buckmaster scope on his AR its a nice scope I don't think you could go wrong. i have a Browning 4-12X40 on my AR, which I beleive is a Bushnell 3200 elite.

I really like it too.

I have a sightron 4-16x42 on my 20" RRA coyote and a i have a leupold 6.5-20x40 on my RRA 20" varmint

The coyote is my calling rifle and i pack a shotgun is why i have a higher power scope on it otherwise i would probably go with a 10x max

I'm using a Nikon Monarch Gold 1.5x6x42 on my AR. It very easy to get on target with bright clear optics. Works great unless you're shooting predators over 300 yds.
