What to do for winter gun camo

i just go to the farm store that has horse supplies and get the vet wrap / the stuff people put on the lower legs of their horses (dont know for sure what it is) i get the zebra print stuff and wrap up the rifle. its mostly white with gray / black thin strips of color. looks real good when wraped up. i only wrap the barrel and scope with it the whole thing enging around the action and mag well.

if we has some snow in iowa yet id put some on and take a pic....but no snow on the ground yet..:(

Camo athletic type tape. $12.98 per roll on eBay....

I got white flexwrap/bandagewrap from the local pharmacy. The same store sells sporting goods and snow camo "gunwrap" was twice the price!

I recently purchased two rolls of the Mcnett's gun wrap, and it seems to me to be the cats meow. I put the Mossy Oak Obsession on last night (first time ever dealing with this stuff) and it was a breeze, and worked super.

I'm still waiting on the white camo package that I ordered, to come in the mail. No snow yet here in Missouri, so I won't need it anytime soon, but I'll have it when I need it. For $15 per roll, it's supposedly washable and reusable, so it can't be that bad.

I took an old pair of sweats and cut out a cover for the barrel, hand guard and then a second covering for the scope. Just used wire ties to hold everything in place. Also keeps the noise down on the aluminum ff tube.

We get very little snow here and normally the camo sweats work fine.

I've torn one of mine down twice to give it a Krylon Coat and just can't do it either.

I painted my M77 22 mag a few yrs ago. I think it turned out rather well. I used a limb from our Christams tree for the pattern. After 15 cotes of satin clear paint, it was done

If you have a carbine, just paint the handguards white. Paint them black in the spring or buy some cast offs which are usually cheap...

Just saw this in the medical supplies at the Walmart...

Just go to your local feed store and get a roll of white vetrap by 3m. It is self clinging and wont leave sticky spots when you take it off. Cost about $3 a roll.
