Not yet. I always work the night shift. The day coordinator has 20 years on the unit. Its sorta slow this week. Taking care of some punch list items and pulling blinds. We will close the last tower up to night and start pressure testing in the early morning. We are still going to start up with 4 exchangers that are bypassed. 4 new 317 stainless bundles at a cool 500k each. We had to pull over 600 feet of cracked 14inch pipe on the other unit. There is still a bunch of work going on here.
On the up side, exxon mobil had a big fire this morning on their crude unit. That should help our profit margin.
Ruger M77 Varmint in .220 Swift with a Bushnell 3x9 Scope Chief. Still have it. My grandpa passed it down to me. It was the first rifle I ever shot and now, 42 years later, every time I drop a coyote with it, I know my grandpa would be proud. Great memories.
After using my deer gun to get started. Picked up a nearly new savage model 10 .243. Funny thing was I new what caliber I wanted and had a couple of brands in mind. Went to a gun store with a friend, and I told him someday a wanted a dedicated coyote and roughly what I was looking for. When we got in the store and this gun was in the rack with a 3-9 scope and a good price. he starts laughing..... and says now what are you going to do. I only had a few bucks and liked it ...A LOT. Talked to the clerk gave them a few bucks and put on lay away. Still have it...knocked down a bunch of coyotes and I will always have it. My shots are generally 200 -250 yds. It hammers coyotes with an easy kick.
Post 64 Winchester Model 70 in .308. Truly was a crappy rifle in every way. Shot a few coyotes with it and sent it down the road. Ex wife bought it for me....now they're both gone. Next was a pawn shop Savage 22-250 that was a shooter, I still have the action and re-barreled it to 22-250 AI and its still shoots fine.
My first calling rifle is a Remington 700 BDL in 22-250. It used to sit in a B&C stock that I bedded. My first calling rifle is my current rifle with a few changes. Changes include: McMillan stock and a Shilen barrel chambered for 6Br.
My first calling rifle is my current gun which is a left hand Remington 700 sps varmint in 223 with a 4-12 vortex crossfire 2. Still all stock but soon to get a timney trigger and most likely a Bobby Hart lrv thumbhole and wyatt' s dBm.
savage axis .223 bolt action, followed by savage .17WSM b-mag. Just bought a remingtom 783 22.250 last month. I'll be sighting that guy in after deer season.
