Whats a good all around 6mm caliber?

49.2 grains of IMR 4350, to get the 115 Berger to 3100+

My point on the .25 can was, so that you could switch it to more than one rifle. My friend that sells them, runs .30's on all his personal rifles, even the .223's.
 
I have a custom light weight hunting rifle chambered in a short action 6MM cartridge that won't win any foot races, but it is a fun to shoot cartridge. It's a 6MM-250 or what is the old 6MM International which is a 22-250 case necked up to 6MM with no other changes.

For me, this particular rifle makes the "need for speed" to not be such an important item, but it easily will push 60-75 grain bullets in the 3300-3450 fps range which is at least fast enough that hogs can't outrun it.
