I'm in the market for a new chronograph, I have been running a crony and it has finally given up. I would like to try something different, I would like to know what others are using and if you are happy with it.. Thanks, Kerry

I have an old Pact model 1

I want a printer on my next one. Having to write a bunch of crap down while doing everything else kinda sucks. It would be nice to just let the printer run and write the load on it when the string was done.

220 Swift, I recently purchased a Magnetospeed Chronograph but have yet to use it. From everything I have read or talked to the people who have one they all love them. Everyone, so far, has told me they get a change in point of impact but there was no change in actual group size. Has this been your findings as well???

My dad and I used to have a CED M2 and it worked pretty well but was always a little temperamental with regard to sunlight and it hated the cold. CED's customer service is lackluster at best.

Sold the CED M2 and replaced it with and Oehler 35P. Oehler is probably the most expensive of all the different chronographs on the consumer market but they work exceptionally well and their customer service is second to none. Don't believe I have ever heard of anyone unhappy with their Oehler.

I have had the Magnetospeed Chronograph for about a year now.

Magnetospeed

Slight change in POI but groups remain constant. Easy and quick to set up. Don't have to worry about the sun, the wind or going downrange to set up. Highly recommend it.

I've been using a Pact for about 15 years and have always been very happy with it. Their customer service I have found to be a little snitty.

This what I use. I have two, and they both lie the same, at the same time.

Price is right too. I like 'em!

+1 Used it today.... I have had it for about 7 years no issues. I still have one somewhere in a box I bought in the 80's that used two eyes that I have to set-up 5 ft. apart what a pain.

That's a new one on me.
Looks convenient.

Guys, thanks for all the info, The magneto speed really has my curiosity up, a little on the pricey end but I think i'm going to give it a try, if it works like advertised it will be money well spent. Ill give a review when I get it.. Thanks again for all the input.. Kerry

Carvercalls, if you haven't already, do a google search on the Magnetospeed. I read everything I could find out about these things before I bought mine and everything I could find to read was positive with the exception of the buckle, which they now come with a better one.
