What's your favorite gun you own?

If I don't love them, they go away. If I have to choose one it would probably be my factory model 7 Remington in 17rem. I bought it with a pretty walnut stock and put that up for safe keeping for an already painted laminate takeoff from a previous board member. This rifle shoots great, kills like lightning so far, and is a joy to shoot. All I did was screw the stock on, mount the scope, and try one powder/primer/bullet combination. Over 300rnds through it and hasn't seen a cleaning brush yet

Just for good measure I tried another bullet too incase the Bergers run out.

I don't technically have a favorite gun.. I have several favorites..

For using these are pretty good.. pair of deuces..

Or the 8x57 if I need a little more "oomph"..

Goex burners are my first love and get used quite frequently...

And as far as .22s go, Browning BL-22 and Remington 121 are my favorites(probably because I've never shot a 39M!

Love the smoke poles Ben. One of these days I want to go back and play around with them more. I think a flintlock squirrel rifle would be a blast.

Tough call, the one I carry most is my Colt Agent 38spl,always seems to go in my pocket walking the dogs in the woods, or in the jungle called a city. I carry a Mauser broomhandle quite a bit when "adventuring" after coyotes to use as a finisher. Shotguns its my Red Label 12ga that's taken turkeys, coyotes, and bobcats, also quite a few falls and that beautiful piece of wood is pretty scared up. When I bird hunt its my win 21 skeet SxS, love the way it swings. Rifles are tough, I love my old win. levers, and my 99 sav. take-downs, but my 3006 S&W/Howa and my Marlin 375 lever have taken the most game. Have a lot of others, but those are my favorites

Tough call but I'd say it's between my first a 10-22 or my first CF a Ruger tang safety in 7x57.Both have taken a fair number of critters.

Quote:I have several that I would never get rid of, but my favorite is probably my Rem 700 Varmint in triple duece

Now, there's a rifle I'd give my upper and lower for...maybe the wife too if she hadn't run off.

Since I like accurate guns, right now it would be my 243 in the foreground here.

because it can shoot groups like this at 300 yards in the wind and make first round hits at 1400 yards.

Sentimentally wise, an Enfield #3 I bought for $30 at a flea market when I was 13 and sporterized (first project)my self. Practically wise Rem700 lh 270 I bought 2 years later. Found a deal in shotgun news and had to beg my older brother to drive me the 2hrs there and use he's ID to pick it up.

encore 6.5 creedmoor, high plains gunstock saphhire laminate,
16 1/4" MGM barrel
then theres the 20 vartarg with a 16 1/4" MGM barrel
and soon to be 257 bob ai with 21" MGM barrel

A .32/.36/.40 flintlock would be AWESOME! I would love to build one someday.
