What's your hunting rifle length of pull

I'm thinking of sending in my McMillan stock to shave off 1/2" length of pull. It's 13.5" now but I feel like I stretch to get where I want to be. I'm 5' 7 1/2" tall. My inside arm to my knuckle joint is 13" to 13.125" I have a compact with 13" lop in 7mm-08 and it feels great hunting but too short at the range. The 13.5" McMillan feels good on range bench but too long hunting I think. It is a 30-06

What are you shorter guys hunting rigs length of pull?

I'm not a "shorter guy" but I prefer a short LOP on most rifles. I just checked mine and they very a bit from 13 1/2" to a long of 14 1/2". But short length of pull makes sense if you use the gun with heavy layers of clothes on.

I prefer a little shorter LOP also. I have a McMillan Hunters Edge that is 13.5". Same thing here. It feels fine on the bench slightly long hunting. I just ordered another one and it is coming in at 13.25". I talked to a rep at McMillan and he suggested 1/4" off for me. He said taking off 1/2" is considered a lot. It should be here 3 months. He also said I could send my 13.5" in and they will remove the pad and cut 1/4" off that one too. Seems like he said $130 for a new pad, cutting, and repainting plus shipping. I believe it was a little cheaper for them to replace the pad with a thinner one. He had some options.
