What’s your pick for the best AR trigger?

I am sick and tired of going from my bolt rifles to shoot the ARs and dealing with that terrible stock milspec trigger! What do you guys recommend for a good predator hunting specific AR trigger? For reference I use 1lb triggers on my bolt guns

The best trigger for the money is a Larue MBT 2 stage. Very close to my Geissle SSA-2e trigger for a lot less money.

The Larue sort of breaks like a carrot. The Geissle like a candy cane. Just different but both are very nice.

I had been told that the RRA national match 2 stage trigger was a good one, but I have a buddy that got one and it wouldn’t fire at first, he had to file some off of his safety selector to give the trigger enough room to travel break. Have you guys heard of that problem with any of the other highly recommended aftermarket triggers?

The only ones I have tried are the rra varmint and the geissele ssa-e. And I really couldn't tell that much difference. I'm hoping the hiperfire that I just bought will be nice.

I have 2 geissele sd-e triggers and one geissele national match. All three are outstanding. The only one I bought new had a little bit of creep and I sent it back and they replaced it with another one that was flawless.

I have 2 Rock Rivers With there National Match 2-stage triggers. Best triggers in my book, and I have shot a lot of different AR’s that come through our Clubs 100 Meter Underground Rifle Range.

I have installed them on 3 different rifles, and never had a problem with any of them.

If you don't need the 2-3lb trigger that the 24E offers then the Hiperfire EDT at $59.95 is probably the best trigger under $100, IMO.

Wow that’s cheap! I didn’t know there was any aftermarket trigger available for less than $100

The best? Geissele Hi-Speed National Match has treated me very well popping prairie dogs over the years. It’s got a solid reputation as being one of the best triggers out there. The downside is it isn’t cheap. However, I have yet to meet anyone who has one that has any regrets. If you want high end it’s definitely worth a look.
