Maybe, if you would start the thread with a 10K dollar rifle pic and a few selfies with all your success the thread would "take off" like it does on the Facebook or Instagram. Those attention whores anyhow.

I'm just kiddin brother... Keep on doin your thing, either those fellas will respect it and learn from it, or they will continue to gravitate towards the trends, which I'm feeling is more entertainment over information, unfortunately.

KinoM and a few others said it........the picture and vid posting format here is not user friendly..and most of the "big names" use other SM formats...changing times.

..honestly it sucks for people that do not want to be involved with all the 3rd and 4th party "popular social media"- that includes me and I'll bet half the frequent visitors here..I wouldn't mind to be able to easily post successful and unsuccessful stories every week with pictures..not nessicarily posting just dead yotes..but everything leading up to it..no shot..miss or kill.

..I really enjoy the story posts with vids and pics from the frequent members here...I check every day.

....And if PM wants to be successful with it's current and future members..they need to do some updating in the media posting aspect. Another sight I frequent changed its posting format a few years ago....and when you have 75 year olds easily drag-n-dropping pics for their hunt stories... makes the site much more enjoyable for everyone.

yep. there was a time pm was pulling in big bucks from sponsors, call makers, advertisers, etc... a little of that money should of been used to update this place. all money under the bridge now.

I have learned so much from this site. I have not posted much because l am a 71 year old two finger hunt and pecker. I can’t express my gratitude enough for those who do post stories/pics/videos/ diagrams etc.

I did just get on the bering optics user group but am so tech challenged that l can’t get all the replies that people post. It is my first facebook attempt.

I have wondered why the activity on here has decreased so much in the last few years. I thought that many people just quit hunting predators cause it is quite a challenge (at least in sw PA).
ANYHOW A BIG THANKYOU to those still posting.

I just watched Skinney's podcast with Les Johnson. EXCELLENT just like the Randy Anderson interview.

I did find the "politics" subject disturbing and had no idea hunting show sponsors could be so cutthroat and downright disrespectful.
Thanks O'niellops.

I’m still around and read mostly everything posted. I don’t post everything I shoot anymore, kinda get burned out and forget why I do it. I went out last weekend and made a few stands;)

I called in a 3 legged coyote. As walked thru the irrigated field droplets attached as millions of tiny diamonds to new blades of green. Their essence radiated of different possibilities. I don’t know why, but being there brought from memory some Roger Waters lyrics;

“The rusty wire that holds the cork
That keeps the anger in
Gives way and suddenly it’s day again...”

Things have really changed with social media in the last couple years...

I was feeling under the wire and a little depressed when I remembered...

I remember hearing in the opening readings of an NA meeting; “...the sooner we face our problems within our society and everyday living, just that much faster do we become productive members of that society”. I have often thought about what that meant and why being a member of society feels limited. In that society belongs to nature, but nature does not belong to society. You see nature can exist without society, but society cannot exist without nature. Instinct is the driving force in nature but often gets neutralized by other tendencies in society. Neutralized instincts can be interpreted as depression.

Instinct is not always rational or logical. Primal emotions are not always rational or logical. They’re in a completely separate part of your brain that you have no control over. What you have control over is logic and reason. You can’t use logic and reason to cure depression, but you can use it to understand that it is separate in your brain and not who you actually are. It’s instinctual. You can’t control instinct. Pick it up and own it so you can let it go. Want to really step forward in recovery? Meditate in the nonexistence of self, and how all those emotions you identify with aren’t even real, they’re just something your subconscious brain made up to make sense of what’s going on around it.

Out here, just as in society predators are everywhere. And even those who don’t need protection from outside forces often need protection from themselves...

It’s good to hear from y’all it’s been a while;)

Ya still got it Man! Not only a killer, but the ability to foster thought in this rusty old brain.

Good to hear from you again, Jeremy.

Welcome back; hope this is the first of many more to come!

Quote:Another reason is at one time the mods was pretty heavy handed supposedly. I personally have never had an issue but mods swinging the ban hammer, constant censorship and a society of pansies that wear their feelings on their sleeves hurts communities as much or more than the blatant belligerent trouble makers. IMO we should let people work the majority of differences without mods being referees and currently I think the mods stay out of the majority of drama.

Not too many moderators left to blame or give credit too either way.

I'm still here, have been for quite awhile, glad to see Jeremy here.
Just as stated above, not as much conversation here, but seems to be "better" than some other SM platforms.
Less anti hunters for sure lol

X2

I always enjoyed your stories and photos of the hunts but more so the thoughts and reflections you manage to provoke in telling them.

I have been getting well over 100 Michigan coyotes a year for the last 3 years but it is such a pain posting them to this page that I just put them on Facebook.
