Where do you buy your shotgun ammo?

I have been looking into shotgun fodder, both for hunting and HD, and was wondering where everyone picks up their scattergun ammo

I'd think that Wal Mart, Academy, or Sportsmans would be as inexpensive as anywhere else. BPS would also be a good alternative. ANYTHING but having to order it and have it shipped.

If Iam in wal-Mart and they have 7.5-8 shot on sale I'll buy a few 100 rd boxes for Clays.....Other then that I buy my hunting rds from my local sport store...

I have reloaded 12 ga. shotgun shells for years, but with the price of lead 7-1/2 shot, Wal-Mart Federals or Winchester make reloading not worth my time anymore.

Well, not counting the hulls (which can be used 10+ times) my skeet loads run about $3.75 per box. Heavier loads aren't much (pennies) more. For reloading to save any money, components have to be purchased in bulk.

I buy hunting and specialty ammo like home defense stuff from Midway USA usually. A local gunshop orders clays loads in bulk and has cases of the stuff sitting on the floor for about $5.00 per box. Usually that is the blue box Federal and I shoot a bunch of their 12 gauge 1 ounce of 8's or 9's at 1,180 fps for skeet. I may move to 1 1/8 ounce of 8's for five stand or sporting clays. But for $5.00 per box, I'm not loading it when I can buy it in bulk for that cheap.
