I shoot a Rip Cord Code Red on a Bowtech Destroyer. Needless to say, letting the Destroyer down is brutal, and very difficult to do smoothly/quietly. Yes, it sucks that the Rip Cord falls when you let down. No, it's not crippling, and yes, I can let down slowly enough to prevent rattle, but YES, I do prefer having a rest that DOESN'T fall when I let it down.
I have a QAD Ultra Rest HD on a Mathews Monster and a Mathews Jewel (my wife's bow), absolutely LOVE these rests. The Rip Cord is my 2nd favorite rest and is well worth the $80-90 pricetag it fetches, but the QAD is definitely worth the extra $30-40 ($125-135) over the Rip Cord in my book. Had I not bought the Rip Cord first, I'd have an Ultra rest on my Destroyer. Maybe I'll get another one when I win the lottery.
