Which Fox Pro Caller??

The best thing about the TX 1000 is the way I am able to more clearly and quickly see/read the great screen. By far the best I have used. I would have a hard time going to anything less.

hammer, how hard is the print to read on the TX915?

The print is very easy to read. Excellent display in the remote.

I have the Crossfire. I really like it and have had 0 issues in just over a year using it. However, I always kinda wish I would've went with the Fusion just to get the TX1000.

The TX1000 remote is the MOST important part of the FP, IMHO. If you can't read the remote, all the rest is meaningless. If they made the Scorpion 1XB (copied from Minaska) with the TX1000 remote, that is what I would own.

I owned a fusion so yes I had that remote. I definitely like the tx1000 better. But this new remote is a huge improvement compared to the hellfire remotes and such.

hammer, I realize the TX1000 is as good as it gets, but how does your ability to read the display on it and the TX915 compare?

Being an older guy, by comparing the two remotes on the Foxpro website, the Fusion would be much easier for me to read. When in the field I have to wear single vision lenses, so if I can't read the remote it would be pretty much useless.

hammer has had both so I'd like for him to give you guys a good report on how they compare. I feel sure you can read either one of them.

I've had both the CS24b and CS24c. No comparison in the remotes. The TX1000 is WAY better than the TX500 remote which appears to be similar to the TX 915....

The TX500 remote is not that comparable to the TX915. I'd like for hammer to rate the TX915 against the TX1000 to give a general idea from a consumer's viewpoint.

The tx1000 is the king of the hill. I like the size, the display, and the backlit buttons for late night hunts. Nothing not to like about it. The tx915 would obviously be second best. The display is much better than the older remotes by far. As good as the tx1000? Definately not. However not bad at all. The range is incredible. The buttons are very responsive and never missed a beat. Honestly the only thing I miss is the backlit buttons.

Thanks hammer. I doubt that anyone thinks the TX915 would equal the TX1000, but this ought to give some prospective buyers a better idea of the difference that they are paying for.

Al, no doubt I would prefer the tx1000. Not even a question. BUT.... For those who do not have the $$ for top of the line models. The new tx915 is definitely a huge improvement over last models. Stop and think how many guys took tons of animals with the most basic of callers??? How many guys were super successful with the spitfire???? So do we REALLY NEED top of the line? The answer is no. WE WANT THE BEST. SO its really a want over need thing. Just the same as the newest gun, bow, clothing, etc. It's a vicious EXPENSIVE cycle!!! Lol

I am not a High Tech or Big Business guy, but I wonder how much more it could cost to mass produce TX 1000s vs. the TX 915?
