Which Power SCOPE is on your gun?

It seems a few others along with myself are trying to figure out which scopes to buy. Many have mentioned the brands but some have not the power of scopes. If you can take a minute post your scopes specs if you can. Thanks! Greatly appreciated!!

Steve

Here's mine

22-250 Rifle
Nikon Monarch 4x12x40

Good luck in your calling!!

Hmm...well, if it'll help ya somehow,

My scopes are all Leupolds. Two are Vari-XII 3-9X40's and one is a Vari-XIII 3.5-10X50.

I've never felt a need for anything above 9 or 10 power in a hunting scope. When I'm calling my scope is set on the mjnimum power even in open country. There's always time to turn it up if needed for a long shot

Hello,
OK, here goes, Please note that all scopes have an AO.

30-06 3-12x50 Redfield Ultimate Illuminator
22-250 8-32x Burris Signature, target turrets
223 Leopold 6.5x20-40 Vari-XIII
17 Remington 4.5x14-40 Vari-XIII
243 4x16 Sightron

------------------
Safety,Ethics, Accuracy, Velocity, Energy

3-9x50 Leupold and Nikon
4-14x56 Springfield Govt Model 2

all set on 4 usually.... Same Theory as Daryl

My Very first Coyote I got was at 20 yards (and running away) when the scope was on 14X, luckiest shot I ever made...

I must be the oddball lol Im useing the simmons atec 2.8 to 10. I have it on both my rifles and love the clear view and light gathering capabilities for night hunting.
SHOOT STRAIT

4x12 Leupold Vari-XII. For calling it never gets turned above 6X and quite often is set on 4X or 5X. Too much magnification will hurt you more than help you when calling coyotes.

------------------

NIGHTFORCE 3.5X15 (50MM) ON A 257 WEATHERBY MAG. I ALWAYS KEEP MY SCOPES ON THEIR LOWEST POWER IN HUNTING SITUATIONS AND TURN IT UP AS NEEDED.

Here is my list:

.243=3x12x40 Tasco
30-06=3x9x40 Tasco
T/C Encore 209x50ML=3.5x10x44WA Swift
12 Ga. Slug Gun=3x9x40 Bushnell
Shoot straight and shoot often
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all.
Bob

And another Simmons Pro 50,2.5-10,that is sitting here waiting to be mounted on the AR15 whenever the handle mount shows up,which I hope is SOON,so I can get it sighted in and then to the woods and try it out.

Same as Greyhawk, Simmons Aetec, 3.5X10X44, great light gathering, when it goes bad, I'll replace it with a Leupold LPS 3.5X10X45.

Burris 4.5x14x42 AO
I usually keep it around 5 or 6 power when calling.
