I have never heard of a .338 Win being AI'd. Does it happen?

Oh, and by the way, if we are going to continue to talk about Ackley's, y'all need to learn how to type the degree symbol.(°)

Hold down the "Alt" button and type 0176
(Probably the only useful thing I will have to say on this thread, so enjoy.)
 
hey,thanx!!.....i get so tired of typing "deg".....
i'm sure someone sumwhere out there has a 40deg 338 win reamer...hasn't everything been "ackley'd"?

Correct me if I am wrong but I think the neck/shoulder on the 338 is pretty short like the Win. 300. This doesn't allow the AI. Don't think I would want to AI that kicking thing, it's brutal already without adding more.

Very true. But consider SSK industries JDJs and Dreadnaughts.

I am puzzled. Is it the short neck that makes the difference?
 
ALT 248 is how I do a ° symbol, because it only has 3 digits instead of 4.

± 1 digit means alot to me. To some it means Ø........

I'm pressing and holding the ALT key and pressing 248 or 0176 an neither one works for me. Crap, I wanna have some fun too!!! OK I figured it out. Operator error!! Doesn't work on my keyboard using the top row of numbers. Only on the number pad to the right.

alt 241...that's a good one. You can get a whole list of them if you open the character map in the accessories menu. Along with the symbols, they also display the keyboard shortcut.
