WOW! Thats what I call customer service. I called this morning to place an order for a woodpecker decoy and a woody hand call. Even though Rich was out calling yotes at that very moment, he took my order and told me it'll arrive the first of next week. Can't wait to give it a try. Looks good Rich. How did your hunt go, while I was at WORK?

LawDog, I use one or two Woodpeckers on every stand. Tie a string about 3' long to the clip hang it in a tree and watch the movement it makes. If you have a slight wind it really gets going, coyotes stay locked on it and never know what hit them.

Dakota there is no doubt you have a good little product there. Between Bob and Gary Clevengers pictures, they speak a whole lot for that decoy.

I could be mistaken, but I haven't seen that many dead coyotes brought down yet by any other decoy. I should say at least pictures haven't been posted.

I'm going out tomarrow and my partner is bringing his along. We'll post of course if we should get any takers.

Rich, I called your business phone tonight and left a message so I'll try again tomorrow. But in the meantime I was just wondering how quiet the woodpecker decoy is. I've got a makeshift decoy that I made from a weasel ball but the motor noise is an issue with it. Thanks and I'll hopefully get my order in tomorrow.
 
I used the woodpecker yesterday, there is no noise. Great little decoy especially if you hang it from a branch with string or fishing line around it's neck.

Little booger flys in a circle with one wing. With the color of red,black and white it really stands out against a tree. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Critters should see that thing from a long way off when it's 4 or more feet off the ground.

I asked my wife to call and order the Whirling Woodpecker and Woody hand call (great deal for $30). The motor doesn't make any noise at all.
The wing makes a little air noise as it turns but it just adds to the effect. The main thing is you can get it up high
so the critters can see it from a distance, it helps for the
educated call shy predators.
