Anyone out there know anything about this special feral hog hunt starting in March? I have been wanting to go down there, but wanted to find out more about it.

Let me know about your experience there and if it is worth the time. Is the 25000+ acres overrun with hunters during this time? Poisonous snakes? Difficult terrain?

I've been all over that place, and the worst part about it is that it has terrible access. It is a long walk from anywhere to get to spots that have not been hunted hard. I have not been on it lately, but I imagine that a lot of it is under water what with all the heavy rains the first part of the week. Old Sabine Bottom WMA is better for hogs, but when the river is out almost all of it is under water.
