Check out Canon's 10x42L IS WP Image Stabilized Binoculars. I have compared them to every $3K top of the line binocular.
The Canons are the best hands down.
The glass on the Swarovski or Zeiss is slightly better. However, the fact that the Canons are stabilized give them the better image.
