He/ They are pretty determined to get their point across. Only to hope for is one of them spills a drink on the receptacle. Then let Darwin sort it out.

If you guys who feed the troll had enough sense to use the ignore feature this idiot would eventually leave. Don't just ignore then respond to his inane ramblings. IGNORE and keep it on ignore. If nobody responds then he doesn't get paid........pretty freaking simple to me.

I have him on ignore then you respond to his stupid post by quoting his entire mindless rant which negates the ignore feature. It's really simple, ignore and don't respond to any of his posts, EVER, and he will eventually leave.

I have been asking this for over a year, even when the troll goes off on an anti gun rant, our moderators continue to practice the progressive tactic of tolerance. They have become the Paul Ryan's of the shooting world, I have seen them admonish long term members here that have spoken out against the troll, siting "1st amendment rights" in a membership only forum that has terms of service.

Try being aggressive with the troll. and see what happens.

Sooo why let what the "Troll" bloviates about get under your skin. It's not like his opinion matters. From what I recollect and I aint on PM much these days most of what he has to say is wrong.

if you want to ignore someone, that means you have to ignore them you don't click on threads they start. you don't post replies saying that you're ignoring this member. you don't complain about their presence. you don't do anything.

if you do anything, you, by definition, aren't ignoring them.
 
It would be much easier to ignore them, if they were simply banned for harassing other members, in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in the User Agreement of this forum. Because, there is the minor problem with the board not allowing you to ignore a moron, even when electing to ignore a moron. Moronic posts are not hidden on the Active Topics board, they are not hidden in quotes by other users, etc. etc. Removing a moron from the forum would alleviate those problems and allow EVERYONE to ignore a moron without having to sacrifice their principles or deny their first amendment rights exist, although they are severely limited here, because if you tell a moron he's a moron here, you get threatened with being banned, although it is apparently perfectly alright for a moron to prove himself a moron in NUMEROUS posts daily.

However, for some reason unknown, and certainly not understood by anyone else here, Administration refuses to do so.

Giving admin the benefit of the doubt in this matter, please show us even ONE post where the moron currently in question has contributed anything worthwhile or beneficial to this forum. Because we can all show the admin team at least 25 inane posts reflecting positions specifically designed to intimidate, irritate, and harass other members, typically on a daily basis, and when everyone ignores the moron, it only gets worse. Which has likewise been proven time and time again.

Actually I can't recall ignoring a problem and having it go away.
After consideration recently during which time I did not post at all I decided it was a privilege and exercise of freedom to be able to respond to liberal talking points.
This person in question will never have a revelation of reality because he is not honest in his debate but others who may see the opinions might.
I admit I may be wrong,ignoring might be the way to go.
He is sort of like having chiggers on the privates.A little scratching won't get rid of em but it feels good.

NO he's much worse than trying to ignore chiggers on the privates! He's kinda like sitting on a cactus and trying to ignore it in hopes it'll get better.
 
As far as trolls go, I do not use the "ignore" feature as I have one built in. I see a certain name and I skip over it. If the name appears in a quote, I skip that post too. Nothing any troll has to say is of any significance whatsoever so I don't bother. As far as I am concerned responding to a troll is like tossing pearls to swine.

Now I did challenge a troll at least once. Swatted his snout good, I did. He slunk away (whimpering I expect) and I did not hear from him again in that post. Y'all remember that post... right? Neither do I and that is my point. Even when someone nails a troll to the wall, it does not one bit of good.
