, here are two links that it took me about 30 seconds to Google. There are several options shown on the Wilson site and the second link is one of those options.

Other than a few Cooper's with Wilson barrels and a guy at our club, I don't have much Hands on with the Wilson barrels. The Cooper's shot great and the guy at the club has a couple of rifles with the Wilson barrels and they shoot good also. They don't carry the big price tags that some of the premium barrels do, makes me wonder about the quality. I can't see Cooper using less than quality barrels. Any of you tried these and what were the results? They claim they are as good as Douglas, Shilen and X-caliber.

Thanks, I will check them out.

Isn't Cooper firearms owned by Wilson barrels?

I think they are.

IIRC Cooper sold to Wilson shortly after his campaign donations to the Kenyan were revealed.

I've never owned or seen a Cooper that didn't shoot really well. Do you think that they use a different grade of barrel for Cooper rifles?

I've got one from Ragged Hole. Have been very happy with it. Good machine work, not a copper mine, and shoots very good. Chambered in 22br .252 neck. Great to deal with.

Not according to what Ragged Hole says on their web site.

Yup. Old Dan took his money and "retired", but not voluntarily. His BOD helped him decide.

Pyscodog maybe right because Douglas barrels have different grades.
Douglas air gauges their barrels.

The old Bushmaster Company would never tell me where they bought their barrels.
I order an 20in .223 Wylde chamber upper from them and it took 5 months to get.
They told me they checked every barrel they sold. They keep sending them back.
This one shot right out of the box.

Quite a few of the makers have several grades of barrels based on the final finish. That's not unusual. PacNor is another commonly used example.

However, if RH claims their barrels are the same as Cooper and they were peddling an inferior grade, the lie would probably catch up with them pretty quickly.
