Wilson Rifle Barrels?

I almost hate to post this, hate feeling stupid. Anyway, I heard that at one time or still, that Rock River and possibly Cooper Arms used Wilson barrels. Is this a true statement? If so, are they (Wilson) available to purchase, like to do a custom build? I don't think I have ever seen them advertised on the open market such as Hart or Douglas ect. Maybe I've just over looked them. Just a question, I don't know and was just curious. Thanks

At one time I believe that Wilson made the barrels for the Ruger #1. This may have been back in the 1970's and if I'm correct they weren't noted for their accuracy. I should research this. Dave

Rock river does use wilson barrels on the varmint models. I am not sure about the rest of the rock river line. The rrock river varmint rifles do have a reputation of being accurate. Mine sure is! Thats all i know about wilson barrels. Lee

Wilson, Douglas and Shaw, between the three of them they provide barrels for a large number of "brands" and manufacturers. And all three of them "can" make great barrels, if that is what the customer is willing to pay for (Cooper as a possible example). They can also just crank 'em out for cheap, if that is what the customer wants (Midway/Adams Bennet as a possible example).

P.S....

Forgot to add - I have had several Wilson barrels and been entirely satisified, they did what I expected them to, for the amount I paid.
