Winchester 1300 - Loads and Chokes ?????

Hi all.

Normally, I hunt these wiley dogs with my M4-style rifle, but have been noticing lately that I could get some use from the shotgun were I to take it with me. However, I have no experience whatsoever with a shotgun in the coyote woods (other than to say that a sabot slug kills them quite dead), and would like some advice if you could.

This 1300 that I'll be using, is my turkey gun. I shoot Remington #4 Turkey loads with my factory full choke tube, and can kill turkeys all day long at 40 yds. with that combination. My question(s) would be: Would this combo kill a yote, and if not, what would be a better choke, shell to do so?

Any and all help appreciated. TIA.

I use the factory full choke on my 1300 with HeviShot Dead Coyote #T shot and am real happy with it. The pattern's not too tight up close, and I feel comfortable taking up to a 40-50 yard shot.

I have a .665 Truglo Gobble Stopper Extreme on mine. It patterns good with Remington #4 buck. I haven't shot it past 40 yards though. I would like to try some buffered BB's through it.
