It has been asked a bunch around here if those little white boxes of Winchester ammo shoot good. Well me and the kids went out this morning to shoot the 22-250 because I put a new scope on it(Leupold 4-12 40mm, VX II Leupold dot). Pics are a little fuzzy, sorry. I was in the back of the pickup with about a 8 mph headon wind, 30 deg and elevation of about 7000,Savage predator 22-250.

.

The first shot at 25yds was dead on, 1" high, adjusted 1"low dead on. Moved out to 100yds, first shot was 1"Left 1.5" high, adjust windage, 2-100yd shot dead center 1.5" high, 3-100yd 1/2" LT-2 1/4" high(pulled)4th-100yd, 1/4"rt 1.75"high.

I was pretty happy about those, so I decided to fire off 7 shots without really stopping other than to put 2 more shells in. Pulled one, but not too bad. We usually go to the Whittington center and shoot off the benches to site in.

Not sure what the defining ingredient in the recipe is for those budget loads but they seem to universally shoot well in most every gun. One thing I noticed is that the barrel gets dirty.
They are not to bad for coyotes either.

thats good to hear cause that is what i just bought the other day for my 22-250. i am going to use them till gone then use the brass for my reloads.

I have a tikka 22-250 that shoots them awesome. A ragged small hole at 100yds. Never shot it any further than that. They shoot as well in my rifle as handloads would so that's pretty good for factory stuff...
