A lady at work is wanting to know the value of a winchester 94 30-30 made in 1981. I haven't seen the gun so don't know the condition. That being said what is a range on price for this rifle? I am not interested in buying it just trying to help the lady out. Thanks again

It can vary based on type, condition, wood grain, and also locality. Roughly speaking, $325. But I have seen them go for both more and less.......

I think where in the country you are will have some say in the
value. I got mine along with a mossberg 500 for 150.00 for both
at an estate auction.
I've been offered 425.00 for the 94. Mine was made in 1975.

Winchester 94's are odd ducks. In some areas they go for $300 in great shape while in other areas beaters go for $500. Here in Iowa, good condition and better go for between $400 and $500. Hope this helps.

10 years ago, I picked up a 1947 in tremendous shape for $300. It felt like stealing.

I could get $600 for it now.......

Prices went up when Winchester shut down their Lever Gun line. I'd say their probably in the $500 & up area depending of course on wear and tear.

Most I have seen are over priced. Most people here feel they are worth more because they are not made any more. Most of them I see here they are trying to sell for over $500 but were bought dirt cheap at Walmart when they did away with them.

I had a guy offer me $500 cash and a trade for a TC encore in 7mm08 today at the range. It still came home with me. According to the serial no it is a 1908 vintage. My Great Grandfathers gun, and not for sale.

I was at Cabelas down the road here a few days ago, '94s were running anyplace from $255-$465 on the used rack.

In the end only you know what it is worth.

I inherited my Grandfathers M94. He bought it in 1941 for 41$, so I'm told. It was all he ever hunted with and has taken dozens of deer and a few yote with it. It has never been refinished and the bluing is worn. 70 year old rifle, what do you expect. I still shoot it and it is a hoot to shoot. I loaded up some plinking rounds and can shoot out to 500 yards with it.Just plinking, not hunting. I would also like to know what mine is worth, not that I would sell it.
